Our Services

Chiropodists, through continuous education and training, are competent in treating a variety of conditions involving the foot.  Below are a number of conditions frequently encountered in a chiropody setting.  Whether it be routine check-ups to maintain good foot health, or there is a need for more specialized complex care, please know that our chiropodists are here to help! Feel free to book an appointment with us to address any questions or concerns you may have!

General and Specialized Foot Care

Our chiropodists provide assessment and treatment for both routine and complex foot conditions. This includes regular foot care such as nail trimming, callus and corn reduction, as well as management of foot concerns related to chronic illnesses and age-related changes.

We assess, treat, and monitor foot health to help prevent complications, relieve pain, and maintain mobility—keeping your feet healthy and functional at every stage of life.

Nail Pathologies

Changes in nail colour, thickness, shape, or texture can indicate trauma, infection, or systemic conditions. We diagnose and manage a wide range of nail disorders, including thickened or dystrophic nails, fungal nail infections, traumatic nail damage, nail lifting, and chronic nail deformities. Treatment focuses on reducing discomfort, preventing complications, and improving nail health.

Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails are common and may result from nail shape, improper trimming, footwear, or trauma. We provide conservative and advanced treatment options, including nail border care, infection management, and corrective procedures for recurrent cases. Prompt treatment helps relieve pain and reduces the risk of infection and chronic recurrence.

Skin Conditions

The skin of the feet is unique and prone to conditions caused by pressure, friction, moisture, and underlying medical conditions. Our chiropodists assess and treat common and complex skin concerns, including calluses, corns, cracked heels, fungal infections, pressure lesions, and skin changes related to diabetes or circulation issues. Early treatment helps prevent pain, infection, and breakdown of the skin.

Foot Pain

Foot pain can occur at any age and may affect daily activities, mobility, and quality of life. Our chiropodists assess the cause of pain and provide treatment for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, heel pain, forefoot pain, arthritis-related discomfort, tendon issues, and overuse injuries. Early assessment allows for targeted treatment and prevention of long-term issues.

Plantar Warts

Plantar warts are viral lesions that can be painful, spread, and difficult to resolve without treatment. Our chiropodists are trained to accurately diagnose plantar warts and distinguish them from other skin lesions, then provide evidence-based treatments to reduce pain, limit spread, and promote resolution.
